Managed 7 protocol staff and direct reports were
the mayor and chief of protocol. As director, performed a wide
range of protocol services for the city including facilitating
special events such as Herb Caen Day, the US Conference of Mayors
and Fleet Week; Official liaison for the 79 consulates represented
in San Francisco: arranged courtesy calls for their diplomatic
visitors and assisted in the coordination of their National Day
celebrations such as flag raisings and cultural parades; Hosted
foreign diplomats and conducted red carpet ceremonies at SFO for
heads of state and other foreign dignitaries such as Prince Andrew,
The Duke of York, the Prime Ministers of Russia and Jamaica, the
Presidents of Greece, the Philippines and South Korea and numerous
Ambassadors; Organized sister city trade missions to 8 countries
including China, France, Japan, Taiwan, the Philippines and Vietnam.

for large health maintenance organization. Responsibilities included

Responsible for the new facilities initiative to
build a baseball stadium in downtown San Francisco. Specific duties
included working closely with the land development team, compiling
analysis of comparable baseball stadiums and gaining community
and corporate support for funding of the project.

Kevin Shelley
Managed all day-to-day operations with local government,
media and community outreach for Supervisor Shelley. Responsibilities
included drafting legislation, writing briefs for committee hearings,
coordinating all media relations including press conferences,
television interviews and speech writing. Represented the supervisor
at numerous political functions and community events.
